Reagan, a neighbor down the street, stops by often to see Davis...today she was trying to help him learn how to crawl...he was watching her and might get the hang of it before long :-)

I want to crawl!
Davis has mastered rolling over...he's our little rolly polly and he often gets his legs stuck under the couch or crib from scooting backwards. He is, however, getting up on his hands and knees and can get that bum high up in the air and then he drops! :-) I know it's just a matter of time before he gets going and I won't be able to contain him but for now, I'll take his rolling around and scooting backwards.
Take notice of the adorable quilt Davis is playing on. Kacey White made that for him...So talented! We love it!! |
He does this arm cross thing and can spin around to get whatever he wants! |
Oh we just love this little guy! |
Davis is 5 months old!
Man how time flies! It's hard to believe this little guy is already 5 months old! He brings such joy to our lives. It's hard to imagine life without him. He's so busy in his little life...always looking at any and everything around him. He thinks anything you have, he should have so he reaches for it immediately. He gives us the best smiles and his laugh is so contagious! Ohhhh I could just give him "sugars" all day!
Easter
Well the Easter Bunny came to visit Davis...and he was a little confused with all the new stuff :-) Maybe it was because it was a bit early but none the less he plays with every toy and stuffed animal.
We played for just a little bit and then it was time to get ready for church...How fortunate we are to have the Savior in our lives and are grateful for the sacrifices he made for us. Happy Easter

Family, Family, Family
Well Walt and Rachel and the kiddos came out to visit for the weekend and we strolled around town checking out the trains and such...they left on Sunday and the same day my parents, Anna, Eloise and Bryn came in town to visit for the week! I was sooooo happy to see them! Davis was just in "people" overload! I think he loved having so much going on in the house...
We went to the park to swing and play (or chase for Eloise) with the ducks
We also went to Collierville and the trains were open this time but I didn't bring my camera...We also ate at this restaurant called The Silver Caboose which has a room where a couple of train run on a track above your head. Such a cute set up and the food is pretty darn good too!

Davis loves his Bryn! |
Eloise was sooo busy! |
And Bryn was capturing all the fun with her camera |
We even went to Graceland
We had so much fun! We made Easter shaped sugar cookie and tried to see the ducks at The Peabody Hotel - we just missed the ducks getting on the elevator but we had fun anyway. We had a lot of downtime at the house as well but there was plenty to do.

I was sooooo sad the day they left! I love my family and was so glad they were able to come see us for the week. Thanks Mom, Dad, Anna, Bryn and Eloise! Love you!
