We took a week trip to Utah to visit friends who are like family to us. We were to excited to catch up with everyone and to introduce Davis to them all. It was a VERY busy trip but we are so glad we were able to make it out.
Gary flew a separate flight from me and Davis and this kid wore me out. Thank goodness it wasn't a full flight and the flight attendants were super nice. He hung out in the back with them a lot.

My friend Jenn (Mexi) picked us up from the airport since Gary's flight arrived much later. We had to stop off at The Haunted Forest and Davis felt he needed to run free! He didn't care that it was made to be scary. Granted, it was still daylight but he was hanging out in the cast room while the cast members were getting dressed and all scary looking!
I was able to visit one of my very best friends, Kayli and her new baby girl, Mya. I didn't take a pic (and I don't know why) but I loved every minute of holding that precious little girl!
When we got in, we stayed with my friend Shannon. She has 3 little ones and they were really good with Davis...Especially her little girl Annie. They were so welcoming and made us feel right at home!

Shannon took him for a bike ride in her basket. He didn't want to get out...and her kids, Max and Ace were helpers too. (Ace is in the monkey costume :-))
We met up with Gary's Parents Saturday in Salt Lake. They brought some kids from their ward to conference and we were able to spend a little time with them which is always great! And why didn't I get a pic of them? Shoot!
We also stopped for dinner at The Croxton's. Gary had a great time catching up and Davis enjoyed playing with blocks, their dog and watching Mickey Mouse Clubhouse on You Tube.

We also met up with my girlfriend Jodie Borg for lunch. She came down from Boise to meet Davis - so sweet of her! Always love catching up - wish we lived closer! Love ya
We had lunch with Gary's friend Mike at Cafe Rio, visited with his cousins in American Fork, and met my friend Jill Hansen and her kiddos for ice cream AND I got my hair cut by my all time favorite hairdresser, Junell. Oh how I miss her! It's crazy to think I haven't met these people! Everyone is great and so so sweet!
Of course with all the visiting with friends Davis didn't get much outside time, so one afternoon we took him to a park to play. He LOVES to swing!
My girlfriend Jenn took family photos for me and some individuals of Davis. She did such a great job! I'm excited to get my Christmas cards out for this year!! :)
We were able to spend some time with The Ethington's (but not enough in my opinion). I always love seeing them and catching up! The girls are growing up way too fast! Anja watches Davis while Gary and I went through The Haunted Forest. It is a fantastic haunted attraction so if you are ever in Utah - go check it out!

Davis did get a little more "outside" time at The Ethington's and the girls were so sweet! He even took over Grace's Sonic drink but she gladly shared.

That night, Grace and Kate watched Davis for me while I went to dinner with their mom Anja and our friend Jenn. We had to get in some girl time! We had a great time! We ate, laughed, ate, snapped pic, ate. Do you see the trend? :-) Oh I love these girls! If only we lived closer...

No the Utah trip didn't end there...we made our way down to St. George for the night to see Gary's friends Chris and Kacey White. They have four boys and Davis fit right in! It was great meeting them, and not to mention the great food Kacey made. Delicious!!

THAT was the end of our Utah trip :-( We have so many great friends out there...a part of me would love to be back there. Oh well...until next time.
Davis was the social bug on our flight home and once we landed and exited them plane he felt like he needed a little "roam" time. We had to wait for Daddy to come pick us up so I let him explore a little. Of course there was a service dog in the airport and guess where we were...? Yep by the dog :-)

The trip was too short and I didn't get to see everyone (Jill Nicolson) but that just means I have to make it out there more often! Traveling takes a lot out of me now that I have to wrangle this little guy but the trip was well worth it! Until next time!! Loves!
