Grandma Olsen, 4th of July & Staples visit

Our summer started off with a visit from Gary's mom, Grandma Olsen - I was spoiled having her here!  She loved on Davis as much as she could which freed up time for me to work and run errands alone (and I loved every minute of it!).
We also celebrated The Fourth of July with Gary's mom, Walt, Rachel and kids and Randy (who came in from Singapore).  It was really great having everyone over.  The kids played in a blow up pool and on the swing set, while the guys golfed (imagine).

Happy Fourth of July!

We were also fortunate enough to see my sister Staci and her family for a few days.  We headed down to Alabama so Gary and my brother in law, John could play a round of golf and I could hang out with my sister, her girls and let Johns Aunt Mary and Mike meet Davis.  It also happened to be Alli's birthday so we had a little party for her at Aunt Mary's

Annndddd Davis wants everything you have

After we partied and hung out at Aunt Mary's for a little while, The Staples followed us home and they spent a few days with us.  Alli's actual birthday was on Sunday and she happened to be at my house so we had a little party for her there as well.

We put up streamers and had balloons all over the floor.  We also had a pinata and yummy cupcakes.  The following day we decided to hit up the pool at our fitness center.  The girls were a little hesitant at first but had a blast.  Davis on the other hand thinks he knows how to swim...he loves the water.
