BEACH WEEK!!!

We took a nice week long vacation down in Gulf Shores with some friends in the beginning of October.  It was so nice to see our friends from Germantown and to take a break from reality.  We did a lot of laying around at that beach (me under an umbrella the whole time.  Hey! fair skin and the sun don't mix well!) and some outlet shopping :-)!  Davis wasn't a huge fan of the ocean so he only got in once when Gary took him out there but he did love the pool which was at our beach house.  We also were able to visit with Gary's Aunt, Uncle and Cousins for a little.  In an earlier post I mentioned Gary convinced me to drive down because we could break it up stopping at Walt and Rachel's.  Well come to find out, Walt and Rachel's place was 2 hours OUT OF THE WAY!  He nicely omitted that part KNOWING I would veto the drive so yes, we drove 13hrs straight on our way home...ugh! Needless to say, no more blindly believing what Gary says.

excuse my fat finger!  Davis isn't the best with sharing the IPAD but he let the girls sit beside him and watch color crew.

Davis did find a friend in Cat.  He loved sitting with her and playing his games. So sweet :-)

Umm...there was an occasional night or two when he would get in our bed...clearly we didn't get as good of a sleep as he did.  Bed hog

Doesn't everyone sit in inner tubes and chew on driftwood???
